Monorail Balance

A small game made for the Brackey's Game Jam 2025.1

Deliver cargo, hire crew, upgrade your train, and try to get as far as you can - all while being chased by rival hit-trains!

How to Play

• Load cargo at a train station and deliver it at the next station, or hold onto it until the next one for an even better deal!
• Hire crew members to attack the rival trains (once per sec) and repair your own train cars (once per 5 sec)
• Purchase more cargo cars to deliver more cargo!
• Rival trains will become more dangerous over time, so make sure you keep increasing your crew - because a destroyed cargo car is going to hurt!
• There's no end goal other than travelling as far as you can

Fun Facts

• This train is based on the 1909 Brennan Monorail prototype that ran on a single rail and leaned automatically into corners thanks to a clever gyro system!
• This game isn't actually part of the Brackey's Game Jam 2025.1 because I missed the submission deadline by 6 seconds :(
